• You must have the following: Degree in BS Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related course
• Programming knowledge and experience in C/C++Knowledge in digital signal processing (DSP)Knowledge in wireless communications/telecommunications network

Experience in embedded systems programming/low-level language environments (undergraduate courses, undergraduate thesis, previous work experience(s), self-study, etc.)It is not required, but we'd like you to have:3 years or more of experience in a related field

• Thesis or affiliation with a digital signal processing lab and/or wireless communications lab
• Knowledge in object-oriented programming (OOP)Knowledge in coding for embedded systems that require data structures and optimized memory allocation
• Background in official telecommunications protocols (3GPP 4G/LTE and/or 5G NR standards/specifications)
• Knowledge in version control tools (SVN, Git)
• Knowledge in common software development methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Agile)

Participation in global conferences (IEEE, TENCON, PJWWRAT, etc.), competitions and seminars Knowledge/experience in software development on Linux/Ubuntu (Optional)

What you’ll do: Project Summary

Develop a software-based cellular base station simulator that is used as a test equipment for cellular device (smartphones) and their chipsets, with a focus on Lower Layer parts (Physical Layer, and MAC Layer in the future), including firmware-level development for 5G NR/4G LTE protocols. Work within global cooperative teams across PH/UK/IN/JP.Job summary: Design and implement software and firmware based on requirements, covering the full development cycle — from investigating international 3GPP/5G standards specifications, to translating them into source code, and testing on the actual machine

• Perform unit, integration, and system testing with debugging
• Investigate and fix issues reported against released software/firmwareRespond to customer inquiries related to software or firmware issues
• Manage self-tasks within designated projects and assist in planning and execution under supervision
• Participate in structured growth opportunities to develop project management and customer relations skills

Based on the requirement: To design and implement software; To perform unit test, integration test and system test with debugging; If an issue is reported against a released software
