Our values are Teamwork & Comradery, Hiring & Developing the Best, Agility & Lean Thinking, Customer Obsession, Innovation & Systemization, and Accountability & Transparency. Previous Applicants: If you previously applied or interviewed for our HR Business Partner role, there is no need to apply again. Your previous application has already been considered. ROLE PURPOSE We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner who brings together strong business judgment, HR expertise, people leadership, and a genuine ability to connect with people. This is a senior, hands-on HR role that partners closely with leadership while providing coaching and mentorship across the HR function. We are looking for someone who understands that great HR is not only about policies, processes, and business outcomes. It is also about listening, building trust, understanding people, developing others, and knowing how to balance care with accountability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HR Business Partnership Partner with leadership on workforce priorities, organizational needs, people risks, performance, retention, and capability. Provide sound HR advice on complex or sensitive people matters. Constructively challenge stakeholders when appropriate and recommend practical solutions. Use HR data and business information to identify issues and support decision-making. People & Culture Build trusted relationships with leaders, contractors, and teams. Handle sensitive people matters with empathy, fairness, sound judgment, and appropriate accountability. Support performance, feedback, conflict resolution, engagement, and retention initiatives. Strengthen a culture where people feel heard, respected, supported, and accountable. HR Leadership & Mentorship Coach and mentor HR professionals and help develop their judgment, confidence, and capability. Set quality standards and provide constructive feedback on HR work. Support HR team members through challenging people and stakeholder situations. Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and capability of the HR function. Talent & Capability Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring stakeholders on workforce and hiring requirements. Provide senior HR input into candidate assessment and hiring decisions. Support leadership development, learning, upskilling, succession, and organizational capability initiatives. HR Operations & Improvement Develop and improve HR policies, processes, programs, systems, and documentation. Develop useful HR metrics and people insights for leadership. Identify opportunities to improve HR through systems, AI, automation, and better ways of working. Maintain appropriate confidentiality and awareness of contractor and regulatory considerations. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience at Senior HRBP, HR Manager, HR Lead, or comparable level. Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and mentoring HR professionals. Strong experience partnering directly with senior leadership. Broad experience across HR business partnering, people relations, culture, talent acquisition, capability development, and HR operations. Strong experience handling complex people matters requiring both empathy and business judgment. Experience improving HR processes, programs, or systems. Experience in consulting, BPO/outsourcing, professional services, international, or remote organizations is advantageous. Experience supporting independent contractor workforces is highly preferred. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Beyond technical HR experience, we are looking for someone who is: People-oriented and approachable: You naturally build rapport and take time to understand the person behind the issue. A strong HR leader: You have developed other HR professionals, not simply managed your own workload. A coach and mentor: You enjoy helping others improve their judgment, confidence, and capability. Commercially aware: You understand business priorities without treating people as numbers. Empathetic but accountable: You can care about people while still having difficult conversations and maintaining standards. Confident with leadership: You can advise and respectfully challenge senior stakeholders when necessary. Hands-on: You are comfortable moving between strategic HR discussions and practical people matters. BEFORE YOU APPLY Ask yourself: Have I personally coached or mentored HR professionals and can I give clear examples of how they improved? Have I led HR work beyond my own individual responsibilities and held others accountable for quality and outcomes? Have I advised senior leaders on difficult people decisions, including situations where I needed to challenge their thinking? Can I build genuine rapport with people while still handling difficult conversations and maintaining accountability? Do I take time to understand the person and context behind a performance or workplace issue before reaching conclusions? Have I improved an HR function, process, program, or system rather than simply administering what was already there? Do I genuinely enjoy developing people and helping other HR professionals become stronger and more independent? If you can confidently answer YES and provide specific examples for these questions, we would like to hear from you. If most of these areas are not yet part of your experience, this particular senior-level role may not be the right match at this time. ENGAGEMENT This is an independent contractor engagement. The Senior HR Business Partner independently determines the appropriate manner and methods for delivering agreed services, subject to the Independent Contractor Agreement, agreed deliverables, business requirements, applicable policies, confidentiality obligations, and required outcomes.
