Systems Programmer

As a Systems Programmer, you will design, develop, test, and implement software applications and tools to support business operations. You will create and maintain custom programs, scripts, and automation processes to enhance operational efficiency, develop system modules based on approved functional requirements, and integrate existing systems with third-party software or APIs as required by the business. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software applications and tools to support business operations
• Create and maintain custom programs, scripts, and automation processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Develop system modules and enhancements based on approved functional requirements
• Integrate existing systems with third-party software or APIs as required by the business
• Review current systems and software being used by the company for possible upgrades and enhancements
• Create new software including web-based and desktop-based applications
• Create detailed work and system flow documentation of the software being developed
• Create and present mock-up designs of the system to intended beneficiaries for scope approval
• Monitor and troubleshoot existing in-house applications, databases, and system processes
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization for better system performance

About you

• Graduate of BS IT, BS CS, or any related IT 4 year course
• At least 1 year hands-on programming experience
• Knowledgeable in PHP programming
• Knowledgeable in other web programming frameworks
• Maintain proper documentation of program codes, workflows, and change logs
• Provide technical support to end-users regarding system usage, errors, and data issues
• Design, manage, and optimize database structures
• Implement security measures in all developed applications to safeguard company data
