Front End Developer | WFH

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Front-End HTML Coder / Front-End Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, editing, and occasionally building the user interface of websites and web applications. You will work closely with our graphic designer to ensure a visually engaging and user-friendly experience, while also collaborating with our backend developer to seamlessly integrate front-end features with backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Coding and Maintaining Websites: Write and maintain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to create and update web pages.
• Ensuring Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure that websites and applications function correctly and display consistently across different browsers and devices.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues, including browser compatibility problems and other front end bugs.
• Collaborating with Designers and Backend Developers: Work with our designer to implement visual concepts and collaborate with our backend developer to integrate front-end and backend systems.
• Implementing Responsiveness: They create websites that adapt to various screen sizes and devices, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms.
• Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure websites are accessible and follow web standards.
• Implementing Design and Functionality: Translate design mockups into code, ensuring the website looks and functions according to specifications.
• Maintain the website's current look and feel by learning the existing design framework and using existing css whenever possible to accomplish that goal.
• Qualifications and Requirements

Skills

• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Proficient in using these fundamental web development languages.
• Responsive Web Design: Understanding and implementing responsive design principles to ensure websites adapt to different devices.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of ensuring websites function correctly across different browsers.
• Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing websites for speed and efficiency.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve issues, including browser compatibility problems and other frontend bugs.
• Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with designers, backend developers, and other team members.
• Experience designing dynamic, data-driven webpages - not just static informational websites.
