About the role
This role involves proactive support and monitoring of WordPress and Shopify websites, alongside managing support requests and maintenance projects.
Key responsibilities
- WordPress and Shopify core and plug-in updates
- Website security monitoring and malware scanning
- Site backups and uptime status monitoring
- Search index fail and SEO technical issue monitoring
- Visual and click checks of critical sections and interfaces
- Server PHP updates, broken link checks, and hosting renewals
- Assistance with content updates
- Manage left navigation filters and menu structure on sites
- Troubleshooting bug reports and template modifications
- Website analytics tech support requests
- About you4–7 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify website management and support
Strong knowledge of WordPress, page builders, WooCommerce, Shopify themes/Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHPExperience with website maintenance, troubleshooting, staging, Git workflows, GA4, and Google Search Console
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and client support skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the initiative to proofread and validate English and French website content and postings
- Amenable to work Irish Standard Time
