Full job description

Meadow Manufacturing Corporation, a sister company of Marigold Manufacturing Corporation is in search of Bookkeeper.

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for affiliate companies. This role ensures proper recording of transactions, preparation of trial balances, and support for financial statement preparation while adhering to accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts for affiliate companies, including Cash Receipts, Cash Disbursements, General Journal and General Ledger books.
• Prepare monthly adjusting entries for accruals and prepayments.
• Generate unadjusted and adjusted trial balances to support financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely posting and reconciliation of transactions.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience

• Accounting graduate
• Work experience related to bookkeeping is an advantage.

Required Certifications or Special Skills

• Proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
