Next is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect — a rare profile who bridges ERP business analysis and technical architecture. You will lead the translation of complex business requirements into scalable, well-architected Odoo solutions, owning the technical blueprint from discovery through implementation. The ideal candidate can dissect a client's operational challenges with the rigor of a business analyst, then architect the end-to-end technical solution that solves them. Strong technical ERP knowledge and strong business acumen are essential for this role. You should understand how businesses operate, how ERP systems support those processes, and how to turn business requirements into a solid technical solution.7–10 years of ERP experience, covering business analysis, solutions architecture, and software development. Strong technical ERP knowledge with hands-on experience designing end-to-end ERP solutions — from understanding business requirements through to technical architecture and implementation. Strong business acumen. You should be able to sit with a CFO or business leader, understand how their processes work and where the problems are, then translate those requirements into a practical ERP solution. Strong across both business and technical sides of ERP. You can lead a business requirements workshop in the morning and work through the technical architecture, integrations, and implementation approach in the afternoon. Hands-on Odoo implementation experience, working across multiple modules and Odoo versions (v14 and above). Strong Python and Odoo backend knowledge, with working knowledge of JavaScript and XML for front-end and customization requirements. Solid understanding of business processes across at least two areas such as finance, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, or operations. Excellent English communication skills. You’ll need to explain architecture, technical decisions, and trade-offs clearly to clients, executives, and technical teams. Able to lead technical discovery independently, make architecture decisions, and find practical solutions when requirements are unclear or projects become complex. Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and technical workstreams without constant supervision. Architecture & Solution Design

Lead business analysis and requirements gathering, translating operational workflows and pain points into clear functional and technical specifications

Architect end-to-end ERP solutions — spanning data model, integrations, customizations, and infrastructure — that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals

• Own the solution blueprint for engagements: module selection, customization strategy, integration design, and migration approach
• Evaluate trade-offs between out-of-the-box configuration, customization, and third-party integration, and make the call on the right approach
• Define and document technical architecture standards, data flows, and system design across projects
• Leadership & Delivery
• Serve as the technical authority on engagements, guiding developers and functional consultants on architectural decisions
• Review solution designs and code for architectural soundness, scalability, and adherence to best practices
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical and integration challenges on live projects
• Mentor developers and consultants on solution architecture principles and Odoo best practices
• Set and enforce standards for technical documentation and implementation methodology across projects
• Client & Business Analysis
• Lead discovery workshops, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews across departments to uncover business

• Present and defend solution architectures to client stakeholders, from department heads to C-level executives
• Bridge the conversation between business needs and technical feasibility — translating in both directions with equal fluency
• Support UAT, go-live, and post-launch stabilization from an architectural standpoint
• Identify opportunities for solution expansion and technical improvement within existing client accounts

Technical Execution

• Design and oversee implementation of Odoo modules across Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM, HR, Manufacturing, and Project Management
• Architect custom Odoo modules, automations, and integrations using Python and the Odoo framework
• Design integration architecture between Odoo and third-party platforms via REST APIs and middleware
• Define data migration architecture: mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation strategy
• Lead architecture reviews, technical handoffs, and design decisions for the development team
• Guide front-end customization approach using JavaScript, XML, and QWeb where needed

Highly Valued

• Odoo Functional or Technical certification
• Strong knowledge of AI tools, workflow automation, and cloud integrations
• Background in a specific industry vertical such as distribution, manufacturing, retail, or professional services
