About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a US Insurance Account to join our team in Angeles City, Pampanga. This is a full-time position offering the unique advantage of weekends off, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. In this role, you will be the vital link between our US-based insurance clients and their customers, providing exceptional support and resolving inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining client satisfaction and upholding our reputation for excellence in customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy, addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns
• Provide accurate information regarding insurance policies, coverage options, claims procedures, and premium payments
• Process policy changes, cancellations, and new policy requests in accordance with company procedures
• Document all customer interactions accurately and completely in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner, escalating complex issues when necessary
• Maintain detailed knowledge of insurance products, terms, and conditions to provide informed assistance
• Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including call quality, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve departmental goals and targets
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements at all times
• Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to improve performance and skills

What we're looking for2nd year college undergraduate with no back subjects (1st and 2nd sem completed) or college graduate or customer service certification is advantageous

• Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a clear and professional phone manner
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure
• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software, and standard Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy
• Patient, empathetic, and professional demeanour with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to follow processes and procedures
• US insurance knowledge or willingness to learn quickly is highly desirable
• Availability to start immediately
