Software Test Engineer - TELCO

Shape the future of telecom quality engineering with NTT DATA. We're looking for a Software Test Engineer who combines strong Telecom OSS/BSS testing expertise with modern Automation, GenAI, and AI-assisted QA practices to deliver high-quality digital transformation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Test business-critical OSS/BSS platforms across Order Management, Billing, Provisioning, Inventory, and Assurance domains
• Design and execute functional, integration, API, and end-to-end test scenarios
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate test design, defect analysis, test data creation, and quality insights
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and customers to drive quality throughout the SDLC
• Support UAT activities and ensure successful business sign-off

About you

• 4+ years of software testing experience within Telecom OSS/BSS environments
• Strong expertise in functional testing, test design, and defect management
• Hands-on automation experience using Selenium (Java), Test

NG, or similar tools

• Experience with API testing, backend validation, Jenkins, and Git
• Mandatory experience using GenAI tools in QA workflows
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agent-based testing approaches is an advantage
