SENIOR SYSTEMS DEVELOPER

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer to join Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation / Multiplast Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead and architect complex software systems whilst contributing to the technological advancement of our organisation. As a Senior Systems Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-level systems that support our business operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, improving system performance and ensuring the delivery of robust solutions that meet our evolving business needs. What you'll be doing

• Design and develop enterprise-level systems and applications utilising industry best practices and modern architectural patterns
• Lead the technical design phase of system development projects, ensuring scalability, security and performance optimisation
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code whilst adhering to established coding standards and guidelines
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers and team members to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technology selection and implementation strategies
• Mentor and support junior developers in their technical growth and professional development
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection standards and regulations
• Document system designs, technical specifications and operational procedures for knowledge transfer and maintenance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level solutions
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++ or similar
• Solid understanding of system design principles, software architecture patterns and design patterns
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL optimisation and database design
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and experience working in collaborative development environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable
• Experience with API development, RESTful services and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience mentoring junior developers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
