About the role
We are looking for a Sales Prospecting Specialist to support the growth of our US sales operations by identifying potential customers and creating new sales opportunities. This role is focused on outbound prospecting. You will be responsible for researching potential accounts, initiating conversations with prospects, understanding their initial needs, and generating qualified meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate is comfortable making high-volume outbound calls, conducting prospect research, writing personalized outreach, and consistently following up with potential customers. This position requires someone who can independently build a prospect pipeline rather than relying only on pre-qualified leads.
Key responsibilities
- Research businesses and potential decision-makers within the US market
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists based on assigned industries, territories, or customer profiles
- Identify new business opportunities through online research, LinkedIn, CRM databases, and other prospecting tools
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels
- Develop personalized outreach based on the prospect's business needs and profile
- Make consistent outbound calls to introduce the company's products or services
- Engage prospects in initial conversations and identify potential business needs
- Follow up with prospects through email, phone, and social channels
- Schedule qualified sales meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team
Keep prospect information, communication history, and follow-up activities updated in the CRMAbout youAt least 1–2 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, lead generation, appointment setting, or a similar role
- Demonstrated experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting
- Experience independently finding and developing prospects rather than working exclusively from assigned leads
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with US-based prospects
- Confident handling objections and initiating conversations with cold leads
- Comfortable working with daily or weekly activity targets
- Strong follow-through and organizational skills
- Able to work independently while maintaining consistent productivity
- Willing to work on a night shift schedule to support US business hours
