IT Project Management Specialist

The IT Project Management Specialist is responsible for leading and coordinating technology-related projects across the organization. This role ensures that IT initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage project lifecycles, mitigate risks, and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects from initiation to closure from small to mid-scale projects. s, and resource allocations. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution. Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and standards. Prepare and present regular project status reports to management. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units. Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering orrelated field. Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure projects, andenterprise systems. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello, Asana). Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in basic MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Visio and Project to be utilized in devising QA processes. Ability to document business requirements and functional specifications. Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients and business representatives. Ability to provide technical training to end users. Technical project planning and execution.
