About the role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to support an Australian accountant with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Process invoices, bills, receipts, and transactions
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare basic financial reports
- Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
- Support the accountant with other bookkeeping tasks as required
About you
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Good understanding of Australian bookkeeping practices
- Experience with QuickBooks is required
- Experience with MYOB and Xero is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home-office setup
