QA Analyst-Data Automation

We are expanding our international support operations and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented QA Analyst with strong technical skills to join our team in the Philippines.

This role involves testing new application functionalities, including bespoke features and integrations with external services. The position covers both manual and automated testing, with close collaboration with Business Analysts.

Location: Iloilo City, Philippines (Full on-site)

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation from the Business Analyst team to understand requirements and expected system behavior
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage, including edge cases
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Create and execute automated tests using internal tools
• Verify bug fixes to ensure issues are resolved without introducing new defects
• Report defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence (e.g., logs, screenshots)
• Collaborate with global teams to clarify requirements, discuss issues, and provide feedback
• Provide regular progress updates, highlighting risks, issues, and blockers
• Support stable development and testing environments to ensure smooth delivery of new features
• Use automated testing tools to perform regression testing
• Utilize internal tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and quality standards

Job Requirements

Essential

• Completed higher education
• Fluent in spoken and written English (minimum B2 level)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with remote teams
• Ability to interpret logs, error messages, and system behavior to identify and report defects
• Willingness to learn and use test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Test

Rail)

• Flexibility to work in shifts overlapping with UK business hours

Nice-to-Have

• Basic understanding of QA concepts, methodologies, tools, or processes
• Familiarity with SQL, XML, or scripting languages (preferably Python)
