About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to support and administer enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, with a strong focus on Micro

Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, installing, upgrading, monitoring, and supporting BI platforms and related infrastructure while ensuring service availability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, install, administer, operate, upgrade, monitor, and support Business Intelligence platforms. Ensure reliable service delivery and operational stability across supported platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize business impact and maintain service levels. Review production readiness of technology implementations and application deployments. Perform deployments, job scheduling, monitoring, and platform maintenance activities. Analyze performance trends and proactively recommend actions to prevent service disruptions. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents impacting system availability and performance. Monitor capacity utilization and identify opportunities for optimization. Administer code management processes and deployment procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement performance tuning recommendations. Participate in an on-call support rotation.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3-5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Platform Administration. Hands-on experience supporting Business Intelligence platforms. Experience with deployments, job scheduling, monitoring, and platform administration. Experience supporting applications running on both Linux and Windows environments. Knowledge of incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Experience working with services hosted on-premises and in AWS environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willing to work on a US shift schedule and hybrid work arrangement. Experience supporting or administering: MicroStrategyQlikSAP Business
