Finance Associate

The Finance Associate is responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations, including processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of reports. The role ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations while contributing to the efficiency of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare, verify, and reconcile invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain and update financial records in the accounting system.
• Support payroll preparation and related documentation.
• Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring adherence to budget.
• Assist with tax preparation, filing, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners regarding financial matters.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
