Core responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise enterprise websites, landing pages and Shopify eCommerce stores.
• Build advanced Shopify themes and functionality using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and third-party app integrations.
• Perform technical QA and ensure websites are secure, fast, mobile responsive and scalable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues across multiple projects and environments.
• Collaborate with design, content, paid media and account teams to deliver high-quality campaign and website outcomes.
• Implement technical SEO, website speed improvements, accessibility enhancements and UX/CRO best practices.
• Implement and maintain tracking through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and other digital platforms.
• Analyse website performance and provide recommendations to improve traffic, user experience and conversion rates.
• Identify and implement practical AI and automation opportunities that enhance workflows, testing, reporting and development efficiency.
• Review and refine AI-generated code and outputs to ensure quality, accuracy and maintainability.
• Support CRM, marketing automation and system integration projects where required.
• Maintain documentation and follow established development and QA standards.
• Contribute technical expertise and best practices to support continuous improvement across digital projects.

Profile Requirements

• Proven senior web development experience, ideally within an agency, enterprise, SaaS, automotive, retail or multi-site environment.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining enterprise-level websites.
• Advanced Shopify development experience, including Liquid, custom themes, app integrations and custom functionality.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid and WordPress.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, website speed optimisation, UX/UI principles and conversion optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and conversion tracking.
• Demonstrated practical use of AI tools within a professional development workflow.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with APIs, CRM and marketing automation platforms, Figma, Vercel, Webflow, Shopify Plus or headless CMS environments is desirable.
