We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to support our Australian operations and play a key role in driving business performance. This is more than a traditional accounting role. You will partner directly with senior leadership on financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, inventory planning, and property portfolio management. If you enjoy transforming data into business decisions and want exposure beyond the finance function, this role offers the opportunity to influence multiple areas of the business. You will work closely with the Accounting Head and leadership team to improve profitability, strengthen processes, and support strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Technical Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• CPA qualification is highly regarded
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting, audit, or financial analysis experience
• Strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and financial modelling
• Experience using ERP systems, Xero, or similar accounting platforms

Commercial Mindset

• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
• Experience partnering with operational teams and senior management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Additional Advantage

• Experience in inventory planning, stock forecasting, or inventory performance analysis
• Exposure to lease, licence, or property administration activities

Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership & Business Performance
• Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and executive dashboards
• Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities
• Support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations
• Drive month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial reviews
• Assist in strengthening financial controls and governance processes
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Support leadership with scenario analysis and forward-looking financial insights
• Inventory Planning & Commercial Support
• Manage inventory budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyse stock performance, inventory trends, and operational impacts
• Partner with operational teams to improve inventory efficiency and profitability
• Support initiatives that improve stock utilisation and working capital management
• Property & Licence Management
• Maintain and monitor licence, lease, and property-related registers
• Track renewals, compliance requirements, and property obligations
• Ensure rental invoices and property-related payables are accurately processed and maintained
• Monitor outstanding rental balances and support arrears management activities
• Work closely with operational stakeholders to ensure property records remain accurate and up to date
