Full-Stack Developer – Technical SEO (Webflow & WordPress)

This is a hands-on development role that sits inside our SEO delivery team. The job is building and fixing websites. Most technical SEO problems live in the code, not in a strategy deck. You will open a live Webflow or WordPress site, understand exactly why it's misbehaving, and fix it — not just flag it in a report.

Key responsibilities

Running and acting on technical SEO audits across client sites: broken pages, 3XX/4XX redirect issues, incorrect rel=canonicals, CCNI issues, missing or duplicate Open Graph tags, mixed-content/HTTPS problems, crawl and indexation issues. Fixing these issues directly in the codebase — not just documenting them for someone else to action. Occasionally designing and building new pages or small sites, mostly in Webflow, sometimes WordPress. Writing custom HTML/CSS (and JS where needed) rather than relying entirely on visual builders, component libraries, or plugins. Integrating client sites with backend services (HubSpot, CRMs, forms, analytics). Working closely with our Technical SEO Manager on a rolling programme of client audits. Maintaining and scaling both our own site and client sites over time. About you4+ years building and maintaining live, production websites — front and back end. Genuine hands-on Webflow experience: you can build a site from a blank canvas and understand what's happening under the hood, not just assemble Relume or library sections. Real WordPress development experience: you can diagnose and fix a theme, template, or server-level issue without reaching for a plugin as the first response. Practical experience with tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs — used to diagnose problems that you then go and fix in code. Solid HTML/CSS fundamentals and comfort reading and writing Java

Script.A working understanding of how redirects, canonicals, robots directives, sitemaps, and Open Graph/meta tags actually function, not just what they're called. Educated to degree level preferred, with strong written and spoken English. Strong communication and problem-solving skills; comfortable explaining a technical fix to a non-technical client. Good attention to detail and time management, and genuine curiosity about staying current with both web development and SEO/AI-search developments.
