Purpose of the Role

As the Content Writer & Editor Intern,you will help craft and polish clear and engaging electronic direct mailers (EDMs) and Viber/WhatsApp message copies that are relevant to our audience: Allianz customers.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build your writing portfolio, learn the ins and outs of financial literacy, lifestyle & insurance communications, and contribute to a purpose that truly helps people make informed decisions.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Write at least ten (10) concise 200-word EDMs per month that are either:
• financial literacy and lifestyle articles that excite, engage, and inform the target audience, even outside of insurance topics; or
• product explainers that demystify insurance concepts for everyday customers.
• Write at least two (2) promotional messages we can send through Viber/WhatsApp with a simple accompanying graphic that’s aligned with Allianz’s brand guidelines.
• Edit and refine articles submitted by external contributors, ensuring tone, accuracy, and readability.
• Edit and refine internal customer-facing documents and correspondences.
• Collaborate with the Market Management and Product & Propositions teams to align content with business goals.
• Conduct light research to support article development and ensure factual accuracy.
• Follow editorial guidelines and contribute to improving content processes.

Requirements for the Role

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Literature, Marketing, or any related field
• Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, concise style
• Ability to translate technical or financial jargon into customer-friendly language
• Detail-oriented with a passion for clarity and structure
• Basic knowledge in Canva or any photo-editing tool
• Familiarity with insurance, finance, or customer education content is a plus
• Experience with AI-driven adaptive learning technologies and data analysis for personalized training.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for content recommendation, automated assessment, and feedback.
