Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join SUPER CANDY CORPORATION in Caloocan City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across our banking and financial services operations. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing complex datasets to support reporting, business intelligence, and analytical initiatives. This position is essential to our organisation's ability to maintain data-driven excellence and competitive advantage in the financial services sector. What you'll be doing

• Collecting, validating, and cleaning data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Designing and developing automated reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and business metrics
• Performing statistical analysis and trend identification to support business decision-making
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Creating data visualisations and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
• Documenting data processes, methodologies, and findings to maintain transparency and enable knowledge sharing
• Identifying data quality issues and working with IT and business teams to resolve them
• Supporting ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required by management
• Maintaining compliance with data governance policies and regulatory

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role within the banking and financial services industry
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
• Strong experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, data modelling, and database architecture
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with financial data, banking operations, or regulatory reporting is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements in financial services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
