About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimise content across the Shopify platform
- Build and customise Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and Liquid
- Integrate and manage third-party apps, plugins, and extensions to enhance site functionality
- Work with APIs to connect Shopify with external systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways, etc.)
- Upload and maintain product listings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and SEO optimization
- Improve website performance, usability, and conversion rates
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to site functionality, integrations, and plugins
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to deliver campaigns and promotions
- Implement best practices for SEO, site speed, and mobile responsiveness
- Monitor site analytics and recommend improvements based on data insights
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience working with Shopify (theme customization and store management)
- Strong understanding of APIs and experience with system integrations
- Hands-on experience with Shopify apps/plugins and third-party tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating language
- Experience with SEO principles and e-commerce best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
Desirable Skills
- Experience with ERP/CRM integrations
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools
- Basic UX/UI design understanding
- Experience in B2B e-commerce environments
