About the role

  • Company: Masagana Gas Corporation
  • Location: Kamagong, Makati City
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday | 8AM-5PM

Job Description: Act as Head Office Cashier to ensure effective administration and implementation of policies for cash flow, fund and maintenance of bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Depositing of cash or check and updating of passbook
  • Regularly monitoring of Postdated Checks and check clearing for LPG Hauling payments
  • Replenishment of cash sales through the accounting system.
  • In charge for managing and processing of Manager’s Check for government payment such as; taxes and auction.
  • Transfer or safekeeping of cash during long holidays.
  • In charge for cash fund custodianship
  • Releasing of employee allowances
  • Bank reconciliation (Main)
  • Bank reconciliation (Disbursing)
  • Reconciliation of passbook vs the system
  • Preparation of daily collection and deposit report
  • Recording and encoding of collection.
  • Updating and evaluating of cash positions and cash projection.
  • Responsible for filing of check/ cash voucher and safekeeping of documents and records.
  • Controlling of accountable forms such as, collection receipts, provisional receipts, charge invoice, delivery receipts, transmittal receipts, cash voucher, cashi invoice, check voucher, entry/exit form, lut form, refilling form, receiving reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in treasury, cashiering, or related financial roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Google Workspace
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with government payment processes and regulations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
