About the Role
We are looking for a high-potential HR Specialist / Junior HR Specialist to join the Human Resources team of a fast-paced publicly listed company in the Philippines.
This role is designed for candidates who are genuinely interested in building a long-term career in Human Resources and developing well-rounded HR capabilities.
The successful candidate will initially gain hands-on exposure across HR Operations and HR Business Partnering, with structured coaching and opportunities for future rotation across different HR functions based on performance, potential, and career interests.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee movement, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employee documentation, personnel records, employment-related forms, and other HR materials.
- Coordinate with relevant HR teams to ensure employee transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate employee information and support regular HR data validation and reporting.
- Assist in improving and streamlining HR processes, documentation, and employee services.
- Ensure HR records and processes are handled with appropriate confidentiality and attention to detail.
- HR Business Partnering & Employee Relations
- Provide day-to-day support to HR Business Partners in addressing employee and organizational matters.
- Assist in handling employee relations, attendance, performance, disciplinary, and workplace concerns under the guidance of senior HR colleagues.
- Support communication and coordination with employees and business leaders on HR policies, processes, and people-related initiatives.
- Assist HRBPs in organizational changes, employee engagement activities, performance management, and other people initiatives.
- Develop a strong understanding of business operations and learn to identify people-related issues from both an HR and business perspective.
- Support ad hoc HR projects and management initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or other relevant disciplines.
- Graduates from well-regarded universities with strong academic performance are preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome to apply for the Junior HR Specialist level. Candidates with relevant HR experience may be considered for the HR Specialist level.
- Strong command of English, with good verbal, written, reading, and comprehension skills.
- Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take on challenging assignments.
- Genuine interest in the HR profession and commitment to developing a long-term career in Human Resources.
- Hardworking, resilient, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with employees and management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Professional, polished, and confident presence, with strong workplace etiquette.
- Candidates currently residing within reasonable commuting distance of BGC, Taguig, or willing to relocate closer to BGC, are preferred.
