Product Owner (UK IT SAAS, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (11:00AM - 8:00PM PHT) What are we looking for? Skills Required: At least 2 years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar product-focused role. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent practical experience. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to achieving shared objectives and successful project outcomes. Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation. Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy. Proficient in using product and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or equivalent platforms. Nice to Have: Certified Scrum Product Owner or other relevant qualification Knowledge and understanding of user-centric design principles and design thinking Experience of delivering SaaS solutions Experience and knowledge of mobile device platforms and their conventions Comfortable with remote working Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) What will you do? Collaborate closely with customers, end users, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product value. Gather, define, and refine requirements by creating clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring work is prioritised based on business value, customer impact, and delivery objectives. Partner with the delivery team during sprint planning to align priorities and clarify requirements. Identify, manage, and monitor cross-functional and cross-team dependencies to support smooth delivery. Ensure all backlog items meet the agreed Definition of Ready before entering a sprint and satisfy the Definition of Done before completion. Review and validate completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, business requirements, and stakeholder expectations. Actively participate in sprint reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives to support continuous improvement. Work closely with Product Managers, Development Managers, and key stakeholders to manage risks, resolve issues, address external dependencies, and provide visibility into delivery progress. Serve as the primary subject matter expert for products within your portfolio, providing guidance, insights, and product direction to stakeholders and delivery teams.
