Full job description

Our CAD Drafter/Designer with strong proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 and the 3DExperience platform to support our mechanical design and drafting needs. He / She will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring designs meet engineering specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.

• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience.
• Translate engineering sketches, concepts, and specifications into accurate CAD models and drawings.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards where required.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate design changes and revisions.
• Manage and organize CAD files within the 3DExperience PLM environment.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO).
• Perform design checks for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.
• Maintain version control and documentation of design changes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal English).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working across time zones with a remote team.
• Working experience with the 3DExperience platform (PLM/collaboration tools).
• Solid understanding of mechanical drafting standards, tolerancing, and BOM structures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from rough sketches or verbal instructions.
• Experience in [industry – e.g., automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, etc.].
• Familiarity with sheet metal, surfacing, or assembly design modules within CATIA.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Industrial Design, or related field
• Minimum [2–5] years of hands-on experience with CATIA V5 and V6
• CATIA V5/V6 certification(s).
• 3DExperience platform certification.
