About the role
If your idea of social media is filling a calendar with posts and hoping engagement follows, this probably isn't the role for you. Lhoopa is helping make homeownership more accessible to more Filipinos. That gives us no shortage of stories to tell: homeowners getting their keys, brokers building businesses, contractors working across communities, teams solving difficult housing problems and people navigating one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. The opportunity is turning those stories into content people actually notice, understand and care about. We're looking for a Content & Social Media Manager to own that. What you'll own
You'll lead Lhoopa's always-on social and content engine—from deciding what deserves to be talked about to figuring out how each story should show up on the right platform. That means you'll: Own our organic social strategy and day-to-day channel direction. Build a content calendar that balances brand, education, community stories and business priorities. Find stories across our homeowners, brokers, contractors, partners, projects and teams. Turn those stories into platform-native ideas for static posts, carousels, short-form video and community content. Write copy, develop concepts and create strong briefs for designers and creative partners. Work with subject-matter experts without expecting them to hand you a perfect brief. Listen to what our communities are asking and turn recurring questions into useful content. Support launches, events, employer branding, executive content and PR amplification when needed. Use performance data to decide what we should do more of, less of or differently. What good looks like
Within your first months, we should have a predictable content rhythm without becoming predictable. Our channels should feel recognisably Lhoopa—but the content shouldn't look identical everywhere. The best stories from the business should make their way into our content without someone having to hand them to Marketing first. And our decisions should increasingly come from what audiences are actually telling us through comments, conversations and performance—not just what we think should work. You'll probably enjoy this role if…You have around 6+ years of experience across social media, content, digital communications, editorial or a creative/social agency. You understand that TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn aren't simply different places to upload the same creative. You can write exceptionally well in English and can sound natural—not forced—when communicating in Filipino or Taglish. You're comfortable switching between strategy and execution. On one day you might be discussing the content direction for the quarter; on another you might be rewriting a caption, briefing a Reel or figuring out why yesterday's post worked. You care about the numbers, but you're equally curious about what people are saying behind them. And when the brief isn't fully formed yet, your instinct is to ask questions and make progress rather than wait. Experience in consumer technology, marketplaces, fintech, property or mission-driven brands would be useful—but we're more interested in your judgment and work than the logo on your CV.This role may not be for you if…You prefer to hand all creative thinking to an agency. You need every brief fully defined before starting. You see social media mainly as a distribution channel. Or you believe the same piece of content should simply be resized for every platform. Why Lhoopa? We're building a different way of making homeownership possible. That means Marketing isn't trying to manufacture stories around the business. The stories are already happening—in homes, communities, partnerships and the people building them. Your job is to find the ones worth telling and make sure they're told well. If that sounds like the kind of brand you'd like to help build, we'd like to see your work. Please send us your CV together with examples of social or content work you're particularly proud of.
