Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PHWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)Job Detail
The Sales Development Representative owns the top of the funnel. This is a high-volume outbound role: 50–70 outbound dials per day, every day, into a fast-moving trade market where buying decisions happen quickly and the person who calls first usually wins the conversation. The role is measured on conversations created and qualified opportunities booked, not on activity alone. The SDR qualifies interest, captures the commercial detail, and hands a clean, well-documented opportunity to the sales team. Job
Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting
Make 50–70 outbound dials per day to new and lapsed trade accounts from assigned call lists. Open cold conversations confidently, handle gatekeepers, and get to the decision-maker without multiple call-backs. Work objections in the moment — price, incumbent supplier, timing, "just send me an email" — rather than accepting the first no. Follow up on inbound enquiries, quote requests and website leads within the agreed response window. Supplement calling with email and LinkedIn touches as part of a structured, multi-touch sequence. Qualification & Handover
Qualify against agreed criteria: volume, buying frequency, current supplier, decision-maker, timing. Book discovery calls or site visits into the sales team's calendar and confirm attendance. Write handover
note
s that let the salesperson pick up the conversation without repeating the discovery. Re-engage stalled and lost opportunities on a defined cadence. Pipeline & CRM Discipline
Log every call, outcome and next action in the CRM on the day it happens. Keep contact records, account detail and call-back dates accurate and current. Maintain a clean call-back diary so no committed follow-up is missed. Report daily on dials, connects, conversations and appointments set. Market & Product Fluency
Build working knowledge of the product range, lead times, pricing structure and trade terms. Track competitor activity, pricing moves and supply issues raised on calls, and feed these back to the sales team. Understand how trade customers buy — repeat, price-sensitive, deadline-driven — and pitch accordingly. Qualifications2+ years in outbound cold calling, telesales, or SDR/BDR work with a documented daily dial target. Call-centre experience counts where the role was outbound sales, not service. Demonstrated ability to sustain high call volume without a drop in call quality across the day. Experience selling into trade, wholesale, distribution, construction supply or a comparable fast-moving B2B market. Strong spoken English with a clear, confident phone manner; able to hold a commercial conversation with tradespeople and business owners.CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or equivalent) and disciplined data entry habits. Resilient under rejection, competitive about targets, and self-directed through a full call block without supervision. Comfortable with performance being visible daily on a leaderboard or dashboard. What Success Looks Like50–70 dials per day sustained as a weekly average, not a peak. Agreed number of qualified appointments set per week, with a high show rate.CRM current at end of every shift — no untracked calls, no missed call-backs. Salespeople receive opportunities they can work immediately without re-qualifying. Escalates pricing, supply and competitor intelligence rather than sitting on it.
