We are seeking a talented Web Designer/Web Developer to join our Design & Architecture team, based in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is an exciting opportunity to combine creative design expertise with technical development skills to create engaging, user-centric digital experiences. You will play a crucial role in translating design concepts into fully functional websites and web applications that meet both client specifications and user expectations. Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites and web applications using industry-standard tools and technologies
• Create wireframes, prototypes and visual designs that effectively communicate user experience concepts
• Translate design mockups into clean, semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript code
• Collaborate with clients, project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
• Optimise website performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user interactions across all devices and browsers
• Implement and maintain responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine and improve digital experiences
• Stay current with emerging design trends, web technologies and best practices in web development
• Support website maintenance and updates, addressing bugs and implementing enhancements as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in web design and front-end web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Experience with responsive design frameworks and mobile-first design approaches
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop or similar software
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG compliance)
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in delivering high-quality work
• Preferred: Experience with back-end technologies, content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, or JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js
