Your Mindset
- AI-Forward: Demonstrates hands-on experience using AI tools to improve the quality or speed of their work — whether in drafting, analysis, research, reporting, or workflow automation. Identifies where AI applies without being prompted and can point to specific ways it has changed how they operate.
- Craft-Uncompromising: Holds their own craft-- to an uncompromising standard—voice, structure, narrative logic, editorial precision whether that's visual precision, composition, typography, color, motion, or narrative integrity. Knows the difference between good and great, and advocates for the gap to be closed rather than rationalized away. Quality is a business argument, not just a professional preference.
- Collaborative by Nature: Defaults to integration over isolation. Works fluidly across copy, strategy, and production — sharing context proactively, building on others' thinking, and making cross-functional teams more effective just by being in them. Influence doesn't require authority.
- Client-Obsessed: Earns trust by making complexity feel simple and work feel consistent. Whether client-facing or working behind the scenes, every deliverable has to hold up to the question: does this serve the client's success? Earns trust through the work itself.
- Outcome-Driven: Anchors every decision in measurable business impact. Moves beyond activity and output metrics to focus on the results that matter — to the client, to the portfolio, and to 2X's ability to demonstrate value.
Core Success Metrics
- Copy quality: writing is consistently on-brief, on-brand, and ready for production — minimal revisions tied to craft or message quality.
- Message clarity: copy lands the intended message for the intended audience across every channel and format.
- Content range: portfolio demonstrates depth across campaign copy, long-form, email, video scripts, and digital.
- Delivery reliability: copy assets are completed on time, within scope, and require minimal rework.
- Client copy confidence: clients and internal strategists trust the copy output; writing earns approval rather than requiring rounds of justification.
