Technical Support Engineer (12 months fixed-term)

By joining us as an Engineer I, Technical Support Quote and Order Management, you will provide technical support to the sales offices, local business partners, and business administrators in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region by answering general technical inquiries and concerns, preparing technical proposals, technically and commercially reviewing orders, and administering orders into the system. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Provide timely responses to general customer inquiries and effectively manage and fulfill customers' orders to generate clean invoices for efficient accounts receivable handling. Review and answer technical inquiries from customers related to products and processes. Provide customer proposals, which involve the review of technical and commercial requirements, model number validation and creation, handling of buy-outs, managing pricing, lead time, and sizing-related activities. Coordinate with internal workgroups for escalations and address technical clarifications related to the proposal. Manage order bookings by reviewing requirements and data sheets, validating model numbers, handling buy-outs, and coordinating pricing, lead-time, sizing, and configuration activities. Resolve order issues and raise them to internal workgroups as needed. Who You Are: You have a strong drive for results and exhibit passion and enthusiasm to get things done. You are a proactive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency in meeting tasks and deadlines. You can proficiently communicate ideas, collaborate, and efficiently work with people at any level, excelling in a team environment. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related courses.
