Full job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for US-based clients. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of US accounting standards, hands-on experience with US accounting software, and the ability to independently manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for US clients.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Maintain General Ledger integrity.
• Process payroll and payroll reconciliations (if applicable).
• Handle US Sales Tax tracking and reporting.
• Support 1099 preparation and vendor reconciliation.
• Coordinate with US CPAs for tax preparation support.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles.
• Review work of junior bookkeepers (if applicable).
• Communicate directly with US clients via email and virtual meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–8+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years supporting US clients.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• QuickBooks Online/Desktop
• Xero (preferred but optional)
• Bill.com / Gusto / ADP (preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work in US time zone.
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: Php480,000.00 - Php730,000.00 per year
