About the role
- Curriculum Design & Integration:
- Develop, refine, and maintain dual-curriculum mapping (Kurikulum Merdeka & Pearson Edexcel).
- Ensure full alignment between national Learning Outcomes and Pearson competency standards.
- Instructional Leadership & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular classroom walk-throughs and lesson observations.
- Provide data-driven feedback to teaching staff to enhance instructional effectiveness and pedagogical quality.
- Assessment & Academic Management:
- Design and manage the school’s academic assessment calendar.
- Supervise the preparation of formative and summative assessments.
- Oversee Pearson Edexcel examination administration and analyze student learning achievement data.
- Professional Development & EdTech:
- Identify faculty training needs and organize internal professional development workshops (In-Service Training).
- Lead and guide the integration of Educational Technology (EdTech) into classroom instruction.
- Academic Resources & Reporting:
- Manage Pearson licensing, learning modules, textbooks, and instructional resources.
- Direct and oversee the preparation and issuance of Student Progress Reports.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (S2) in Education, Educational Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of academic leadership experience (e.g., Vice Principal for Curriculum, Head of Department, or Curriculum Coordinator).
- Proficient/Advanced English communication skills (CEFR C1 level / IELTS minimum 6.0–6.5).
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum mapping and integrating pacing guides for Kurikulum Merdeka and Pearson Edexcel.
