About us

We are a small, dynamic team expanding a Talent, HRIS, and EOR platform, delivering secure, scalable solutions on serverless Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture. Every engineer's output matters here. We use AI coding tools and encourage you to as well, but you are the engineer of record for everything you ship: you can explain it, debug it, and defend the design behind it. Producing working code is the easy part. What we hire for is the judgement to design systems, front end and back, that fit a tight business domain and still make sense years later.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong backend focus
• Proven system and solution design ability: sensible data models, clean API contracts, and component architecture that stay maintainable as a business system evolves. Can explain why a design fits the domain, not just that it works
• Disciplined AI-assisted development: uses AI tools as an accelerant, not a substitute for understanding. Reviews, understands, and tests generated code before anyone else sees it, and can walk a team through any code they submit
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js and Typescript, ideally with Express

JS

• Strong front-end development experience with React (preferably with Material UI)
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with serverless technologies (ideally GCP, but AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar also valued)
• Strong testing discipline: unit testing, feature-level automation, and a track record of self-testing work so it passes QA and code review in one to two iterations
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments across multiple environments
• Experience working with NoSQL/document-based databases (Firestore, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience working independently and taking ownership in small, fast-paced teams, including proactive participation in agile ceremonies
• Excellent verbal and written communication: speaks up in planning, surfaces blockers early, and explains technical decisions clearly to stakeholders and teammates

Highly valued experience

• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools
• Experience using cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with object storage (e.g., Google Cloud Storage), task queues/async architecture, and key management/encryption
• Experience with webhooks, cron jobs, and search engines (e.g., Typesense) for data-intensive applications
• Experience designing and implementing scalable multi-tenant architectures
• Exposure to automated testing and deployment practices in serverless environments

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end web applications, delivering features incrementally for rapid improvement
• Design solutions (data models, API contracts, component structure) that fit the business domain and stay maintainable and extensible as the platform grows
• Own all submitted code, including AI-generated code: able to explain, debug, and support every contribution in code review, QA handover, and months later. "The AI wrote it" is never an answer
• Build and maintain features on a serverless architecture (GCP or similar)
• Implement React-based user interfaces in alignment with UX/UI design
• Deliver features strictly to agreed scope, raising improvement ideas during planning or refinement
• Thoroughly self-test all work before QA handoff; features should pass QA in one to two iterations, not arrive as a first draft
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments
• Use GitHub for version control and team collaboration
• Actively participate in sprint planning, estimation, and refinement; surface risks and question requirements
• Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to refine features
• Design and develop scalable, secure APIs supporting a multi-tenant platform
