About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Java Developer. This role is designed for fresh graduates who have a strong foundation in Java programming and are excited to begin their journey as professional software developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with senior developers, product owners, and QA teams
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Debug and resolve software defects
• Assist in designing and implementing new features and enhancements
• Learn and adopt best practices in software development (OOP, design patterns, clean code)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• Strong understanding of Java fundamentals (OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading basics)
• Familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot (basic level is fine)
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and eagerness to learn

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Internship or academic project experience using Java
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Basic understanding of version control (Git)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus
