Studio IT Engineer

As a Studio Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the organization's IT systems. This position involves actively participating in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to enhance overall system performance. Your expertise will be integral to the seamless operation of critical IT services within the company.

Key responsibilities

Conduct routine system checks, updates, and patches to ensure the health and functionality of IT systems. Collaborate with the IT team to perform preventive maintenance tasks on servers, networks, and associated components. Support the studio network infrastructure by maintaining a secure, high-speed, and redundant network to maximize uptime and eliminate stream drops or lag. Respond promptly to system incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality. Implement and maintain robust system monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues. Analyze system performance metrics and optimize configurations to enhance overall efficiency. Identify opportunities for service improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements. Participate in planning and executing technology upgrades to meet evolving business needs. Write technical documents, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials, to ensure a thorough understanding of the system by the team.

About you

In-depth knowledge of PC troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of network troubleshooting. In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, etc. In-depth knowledge of linux, windows and docker operation. Familiarity with JIRA to manage the projects. Familiarity with git tools such as gitlab, github. Familiarity with camera know-how and settings. Familiarity with how to do live streaming. Familiarity with the functionality of cloud such as VPC, RDS, SLB, S3 and Logs. Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure management.
