About the role

  • Work Schedule: US Working Hours / Night Shift
  • Work Location: Cyberscape Alpha, Ortigas Center, Pasig City (On-site)

What is your mission? We are looking for a QA Engineer (Software Testing & Platform Support) to help ensure an internal software platform is reliable, easy to use, and ready to support growing audit operations. This role focuses on testing new features, validating code changes, supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues, maintaining platform performance, and assisting internal users while working closely with the Senior Engineer. You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks: Test new features and code changes in development or staging environments before release. Validate expected behaviour, edge cases, error handling, and usability. Perform regression testing across related features and critical end-to-end workflows to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality. Create clear bug reports with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, screenshots, and logs. Retest fixes and communicate any remaining release concerns. Support deployments and release activities through established processes. Verify deployments complete successfully and perform post-release checks. Maintain practical test cases and release checklists. Help introduce automated tests for important or frequently repeated workflows using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Investigate application issues and contribute code fixes. Perform maintenance tasks in coordination with the Senior Engineer. Support internal staff in using the platform effectively and troubleshoot reported issues. Provide technical coverage when the Senior Engineer is unavailable. Document solutions and escalate issues when required. Contribute to the implementation of smaller features and platform improvements. Take ownership of defined areas of the platform over time as platform knowledge and experience grow. Who are we looking for? Experience with deployment pipelines, staging environments, and production troubleshooting. Hands-on software development experience, including the ability to read, debug, and modify application code. Experience testing web applications, reproducing bugs, and validating fixes. Experience writing automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Experience with React, Next.js, Supabase, or Vercel. Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, authentication, and user permissions. Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern web applications. Familiarity with Git, branches, and pull requests. Ability to troubleshoot using browser developer tools, application logs, and API responses. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Comfortable collaborating with a US-based team. Willingness to work across testing, bug fixes, maintenance, and internal support, with QA and release validation remaining the primary focus.
