About the Role

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is expanding and taking on experienced Bookkeepers and Accounting Professionals who've managed accounts for clients based abroad. You'll take ownership of the daily bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, and month-end close, keeping in close touch with our clients and your teammates throughout. This is an excellent fit for accountants who work well independently, communicate with ease with clients overseas, and are content to keep hours that line up with North American time zones. What You'll Do

You'll take care of the core bookkeeping and accounting work — payables, receivables, journal entries, and accruals. Reconciling bank, credit card, merchant, and loan statements is part of the picture, together with helping push the month-end close forward. Preparing reports like the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statement will be routine, as will keeping documentation orderly and running down any discrepancies. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, with at least three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad. Confident, hands-on QuickBooks Online ability is a must, along with excellent English (written and spoken) and real experience working directly with clients or stakeholders. We gravitate toward people who are detail-focused, well-organized, and steady under multiple deadlines. Knowing your way around Xero, Bill.com, Excel, or Google Workspace is a welcome bonus.
