Senior Accountant

Job Summary: The staff accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This position will work closely with other members of the finance team to support overall departmental goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and post them to the general ledger.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
• Provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles. Additional Requirements:
