The UI/UX designer shapes the experience of our learning platform for teachers, school administrators, parents, and students. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to turn complex educational workflows into intuitive, delightful interfaces — from first concept through shipped feature. This role is under the Product department and reports to the Product Manager. Responsibilities

Own end-to-end UX for features across teacher, school administrator, parent, and student experiences — from problem framing through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UITranslate product requirements documents and functional requirements into user flows, wireframes, and polished interface designs

• Plan and execute usability research studies, translating insights into actionable design improvements
• Own and evolve the design system and component library for consistency across the platform
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA through implementation to ensure design fidelity and usability
• Present design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and defend decisions with data and user insight

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5+ years of product design experience, ideally with a B2B2C, education, or SaaS platform
• A strong portfolio showcasing complete end-to-end UX expertise, covering research, wireframing, high-fidelity UI design, and post-launch optimization
• Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) including component-based design systems
• Experience designing for multiple user roles or personas within one platform
• Solid grasp of interaction design and usability heuristics
• Ability to work from ambiguous requirements and iterate quickly with product and engineering
• Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions to non-design stakeholders
• Experience conducting or synthesizing user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys)
