Here's a recent Factor1 activity attended by our PH team: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KKKlzzaqQFPx9gYYsZssDpj-9NrAaGgi/view?usp=sharing Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for SMSFs, individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts Provide specialist SMSF accounting and administration services in accordance with Australian regulatory and legislative requirements Prepare fund activity statements, annual returns, and financial reports to a high standard Perform bank reconciliations, maintain the fixed asset register, GST reconcilation and complete general accounting duties Use BGL (Simple Fund 360 or related BGL products) for fund administration, reporting, and compliance Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients Assist in providing tax and business advisory services to companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFs Support tax planning initiatives and advise clients on SMSF-related matters and regulatory updates Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve SMSF processes and operational efficiency Manage compliance and administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate client records and documentation Communicate proactively with clients to address queries, request documentation, and provide regular job updates Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients Prioritize tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines and align with business requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA qualification (highly preferred) 2–3 years of Australian SMSF accounting experience Strong knowledge of the SMSF regulatory framework and applicable accounting standards Mandatory hands-on experience with BGL (e.g., Simple Fund 360) Proficiency in Xero and XPM Solid understanding of Australian superannuation compliance requirements High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) Strong time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team for the position of accountant.
