HR Manager

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The HR Manager plays a strategic and operational role in overseeing all human resources functions within the mall. This includes manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, compliance, and HR operations to support -facing teams, and back-office staff. The HR Manager ensures that HR policies and practices promote a high‑performing, service-oriented, and compliant work environment aligned with mall objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic HR & Leadership
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives and service culture.
• Act as a strategic partner to organization's leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and change initiatives.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture across all departments.
• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for operations and admin roles.
• Collaborate with operations team to anticipate staffing needs of the entertainment team.
• Manage and execute the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, job offer and onboarding.
• Employee Relations & Engagement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
• Promote a positive work environment by implementing employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct investigations and ensure fair, consistent handling and execution of disciplinary actions.
• HR Operations & Compliance
• Handles payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR data and records management.
• Ensure competitive and compliant compensation and benefits structure and practices.
• Prepare HR reports such as analytics, manpower dashboards and org health for management.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and creation of company policies.
• Manage interactions with government agencies, audits, and inspections.
• Performance Management & Learning Development
• Implement and monitor performance management processes and cyclical appraisal.
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance skills and service excellence.
• Develop and Implement leadership development and succession planning initiatives..

• HR Manager is expected to demonstrate flexibility, taking on cross-functional responsibilities and exemplifies hands-on leadership in all aspects of the business

E. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–8 years of HR experience, with 3-4 years in a managerial role
• Experience in retail, mall operations, hospitality, or property management preferred
• Strong knowledge HR Policies and Operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with leaders
