The Qualifications We Seek
Required
Qualifications
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in data management, CRM operations, revenue operations, business systems, analytics, or a related role
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce data, including standard and custom objects, fields, reports, list views, imports, exports, and bulk updates
- Working knowledge of SOQL, including field selection, record filtering, relationship queries, and query output validation
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, filtering, aggregating, and reconciling data across tables or systems
- Strong understanding of data quality concepts, including deduplication, normalization, validation, completeness, consistency, and field-level accuracy
- Ability to translate business requirements into data rules, reporting logic, cleanup criteria, and repeatable quality checks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate complex data discrepancies across multiple systems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data issues and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Qualifications
Experience supporting sales, revenue operations, customer success, or go-to-market data processes
Familiarity with Salesforce data tools, including Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, duplicate management, validation rules, Flow, reports, dashboards, and field history tracking
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Salesforce dashboards
- Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, master data management, or metadata documentation practices
- Experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, integrations, or CRM-to-database synchronization tools
- Salesforce Administrator certification, Salesforce Platform App Builder certification, or equivalent practical Salesforce experience
Your Daily Tasks
- Maintain the quality, completeness, accuracy, and consistency of Salesforce account, contact, lead, opportunity, activity, and related business data
- Write, validate, and troubleshoot SOQL queries to extract, investigate, and reconcile Salesforce records
- Use SQL to analyze data across Salesforce-connected databases, reporting environments, data warehouses, and operational systems
- Identify duplicate, incomplete, misaligned, outdated, or inconsistent data and develop repeatable cleanup and remediation processes
Partner with sales, operations, marketing, finance, and leadership stakeholders to align field definitions, data standards, reporting logic, and ownership expectations
- Support imports, exports, migrations, and bulk updates while validating mapping logic, required fields, duplicate rules, and downstream reporting impacts
- Create data quality checks, exception reports, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor CRM health and prioritize remediation work
- Document data definitions, business rules, query logic, cleanup procedures, and governance standards
- Investigate root causes of data quality issues and recommend process, validation, automation, or training improvements
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, business analysts, data engineers, and revenue operations teams to improve data flows and reduce manual corrections
Success Measures
- Improve the completeness and accuracy of Salesforce records across priority objects and fields
- Reduce duplicate records, stale records, conflicting field values, and manual reporting corrections
- Deliver reliable SQL and SOQL query outputs to support audits, reporting, segmentation, and operational decision-making
- Maintain clear documentation of data standards, cleanup rules, exception handling, and ownership expectations
- Strengthen alignment among Salesforce data structures, sales processes, and leadership reporting needs
