About the role
The Key Account Specialist is responsible for managing, developing, and expanding Envirolyte Philippines' distributor network. The position ensures that assigned distributors consistently achieve sales targets, maintain sufficient inventory, actively develop their respective territories, generate repeat orders, and properly represent Envirolyte products in the market. The Key Account Specialist serves as the main point of contact between Envirolyte Philippines and its distributors and is accountable for the growth and performance of assigned distributor accounts. The role requires regular fieldwork, distributor visits, business reviews, market development, and close coordination with the Sales, Marketing, Technical, Logistics, and Accounting teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage assigned Envirolyte distributors and dealer accounts and build long-term business relationships
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned distributor accounts
- Conduct regular distributor visits, meetings, and business reviews
- Monitor distributor sales activity and performance, identify inactive and underperforming distributors
- Identify territories where Envirolyte Philippines has limited or no distributor coverage and prospect qualified potential distributors
- Maintain updated performance records for every distributor including monthly purchases, sales versus target, order frequency, and account status
Monitor distributor inventory levels and coordinate anticipated distributor requirements with Operations/InventoryEnsure distributors understand Envirolyte products and coordinate product and technical training with the Technical Team
- Coordinate with Marketing for distributor marketing requirements and support distributor-led seminars and events
- Gather market intelligence regarding competitor products, pricing, distributor feedback, and emerging opportunities
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary-related field, or another relevant course is preferred
Experience in B2B sales, distributor management, account management, business development, agriculture, veterinary products, disinfectants, chemicals, or related industries is an advantage
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Strong relationship-building and account-management abilities
- Comfortable conducting presentations and business meetings
- Able to analyze sales numbers and distributor performance
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and sales reporting
- Willing to conduct field visits and travel to distributor territories when necessary
- Results-oriented and capable of working independently
