Full job description

• Job Overview ( WILLING TO WORK ON-SITE)

We are looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for website setup, customization, content migration, testing, troubleshooting, and launch support.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, as well as beginner to intermediate JavaScript skills. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable troubleshooting website issues, and able to work independently on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize websites based on customer requirements.
• Customize website templates, layouts, and storefronts to match branding and design specifications.
• Develop and apply custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Migrate website content from existing websites or e-commerce platforms.
• Extract, organize, and reformat website content, including images, product descriptions, categories, and other information.
• Perform website content and data mapping.
• Troubleshoot front-end rendering, template, data mapping, and integration issues.
• Conduct website quality assurance and testing before launch.
• Check website functionality, layout, mobile responsiveness, and content accuracy.
• Identify and correct website errors before deployment.
• Document website configurations, customizations, and technical setup details.
• Provide project updates and communicate technical issues or blockers.
• Escalate issues that require additional technical support or development assistance.
• Maintain reusable website templates, CSS modules, and other development resources.
• Manage multiple website projects and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while following project requirements and deadlines.

What You Bring

• Intermediate HTML and CSS knowledge with the ability to write clean, semantic HTML and customize website templates.
• Ability to troubleshoot front-end rendering and layout issues.
• Beginner to intermediate JavaScript knowledge.
• Ability to write and debug JavaScript for:
• DOM manipulation
• Form validation
• Event handling
• Simple business logic
• Experience with website development or customization.
• Experience with e-commerce websites or platforms is a plus.
• Experience with website or content migration.
• Ability to extract, organize, transform, and transfer website content and data.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-friendly websites.
• Ability to perform website testing and quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors before a website goes live.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research documentation and resources to resolve technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues when necessary.
• Good written communication skills for documenting work and providing project updates.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on an overnight/flexible schedule to support international business operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in web development, e-commerce, or website customization.
• Experience with website migration or content management.
• Familiarity with APIs or website content extraction.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• Experience with website QA/testing.
• Basic understanding of website performance and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with international clients or teams is a plus.
