What You'll Do

Manage full-cycle accounting for clients abroad: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close. Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis and actionable insights. Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections, and monitor burn and runway for small and mid-sized clients. Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Run payroll accurately and on time, with proper approvals and deductions. Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars, and spot opportunities for automation and efficiency. Collaborate with teammates and clients abroad — join calls, translate financials into plain English, and flag risks and opportunities. Keep documentation audit-ready and records clean and organized.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad (public practice or industry). QuickBooks Online proficiency is required; experience with Xero, Bill.com, or Google Workspace/Excel is a plus. Both CPA and non-CPA professionals are welcome. Strong written and spoken English and client-facing experience are essential. We value an ownership mindset: organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage several clients without sacrificing accuracy. You should be comfortable working a night shift that aligns with North American business hours. Nice to have: a tech-curious, automation-minded approach (workflow rules, integrations, reporting tools) and experience across diverse industries or multi-entity accounting. What Makes CAS Different
