Job Summary

The Verification Agent – Outbound is responsible for conducting outbound calls to insurance companies and healthcare providers to verify insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, and claim status. This role requires excellent English communication skills, strong comprehension abilities, and accurate data entry to ensure timely and accurate verification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies and provider offices
• Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility
• Perform claim follow-ups and check claim status
• Follow up on prior authorizations and obtain status updates
• Make provider data verification calls
• Accurately document call details and verification results in the system
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies and data confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• At least a 2-year college undergraduate education
• Excellent English fluency (spoken and written)
• Strong English verbal communication skills
• Excellent English comprehension skills
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare or insurance verification (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with medical terminology is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
