Information Security Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Security Project Manager to support and coordinate information security initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for tracking multiple security review projects, maintaining project governance processes, monitoring security program progress, and providing timely reporting to leadership.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with Information Security, Technology, Product, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, and business stakeholders to ensure security reviews and technology initiatives are executed effectively. This individual will play a critical role in driving visibility, accountability, and operational excellence across the organization's security programs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Manage and track multiple information security review projects involving customer-facing products, internal systems, employee productivity tools, and technology upgrades.
• Develop and maintain project dashboards, trackers, and status reports that provide visibility into ongoing security reviews and security tool implementation initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and overall progress.
• Support Information Security specialists in managing and executing assigned security review projects.
• Ensure project documentation, status updates, and deliverables remain accurate, complete, and up to date.

Risk Monitoring & Governance

• Identify, track, and escalate critical project issues, risks, and vulnerabilities that may introduce information security exposure to the organization.
• Work closely with Information Security leadership to facilitate informed decision-making on high-priority security matters.
• Assist in monitoring security review outcomes and implementation progress to improve project success rates.
• Support governance processes by ensuring security initiatives align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Reporting & Executive Communications

• Prepare and maintain executive-level reports and project updates for senior leadership, governance committees, and the Board of Directors.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports for the Technology Group Governance Committee (TGGC) and other governance forums.
• Present project status, risks, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate security initiatives, project outcomes, and governance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Technology, Product, Security, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, and business teams to ensure effective project execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Facilitate communication among project teams and leadership to address challenges and drive project completion.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, as required, to support security project objectives.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience managing technology-related projects, preferably within fintech, financial services, cybersecurity, or highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to coordinate and track multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across different organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong project documentation, reporting, and project governance skills.
• Excellent presentation preparation and delivery capabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to create actionable project plans and maintain accurate project records.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with information security concepts, cybersecurity programs, security threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Exposure to compliance, privacy, risk management, or security governance initiatives.
• Understanding of fintech products, digital financial services, or technology-driven business environments.
• Interest in expanding knowledge and expertise within cybersecurity and information security disciplines.
• Experience supporting executive reporting and board-level presentations.
