Accountant - Accounts Receivable

• Full-time Contractor | Remote — open to candidates able to work from the Philippines | Reports to the Finance Manager
• Pay: AUD $13–15/hour (approx. PHP ₱560–650/hour)

We're a fast-growing Australian solar and battery company, and we're looking for an Accounts Receivable VA to own our customer invoicing, collections and receipts process from the ground up. This isn't a "sit and wait for instructions" role — you'll be the single point of contact for our customers on all things accounts, and the person keeping management in the loop on every dollar owed.

What you'll be doing

• Raising and sending customer, intercompany and warranty invoices daily
• Chasing overdue accounts by phone and email — confidence on the phone matters, as this role calls customers every day
• Matching bank feeds on the receipts side and reconciling revenue in Xero against HubSpot
• Processing refunds, compensation payments and referral vouchers
• Managing rebate, STC and finance activation processes across two states
• Producing the monthly aged receivables report and keeping management informed

What you'll need

• 2+ years' experience in accounts receivable or credit control, ideally with exposure to Australian accounting standards and practices
• Xero experience is essential
• Strong written and spoken English, with confidence handling customer calls
• CRM experience, HubSpot preferred

Bonus points if you've got

• Experience with solar rebates, STCs or consumer finance administration
• A track record supporting a remote finance team
