About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Plant Operations to join our team at our facility in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical strategic role in shaping our employee relations landscape and supporting our plant operations. You will serve as a key bridge between management and staff, ensuring that our human resources practices align with operational needs whilst maintaining a positive and compliant workplace environment. This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to employee satisfaction, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across our industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage comprehensive employee relations policies and procedures that support plant operations and align with company objectives
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution in a fair, impartial and timely manner
• Partner with plant management and operational teams to address workforce challenges and optimise team performance
• Recruit, screen and interview candidates for plant and administrative positions, ensuring the selection of high-quality talent
• Oversee onboarding and orientation programmes for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organisation
• Manage employee records, documentation and compliance with labour laws and regulations
• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate employee development and training initiatives
• Monitor workplace safety, health and wellbeing programmes in collaboration with operational management
• Serve as an advisor to plant management on employment matters, labour relations and best practices
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements
• Foster positive employee relations through engagement initiatives and open communication channels
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws, company policies and industry standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field3-5 years of proven experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong focus on employee relations

• Experience working within manufacturing or industrial plant environments is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of Philippine labour laws, employment regulations and compliance

requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in handling employee grievances, disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution
• Strong recruitment and talent acquisition skills with the ability to source and select quality candidates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organisational levels
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on finding practical and fair solutions
• Professional certification in HR (such as PHRP or equivalent) is preferred
